Welcome! You’ve found my store! My online name is Kobuu but you my know me as Patrick Lyddy, “the Epic”, “Yarn God”, or simply BGP. Just some nick names I’ve picked up over the years.

I have been knitting since 2001 when I was in college. Lots of people have helped me along the way learn different techniques and I picked up crochet in 2003. From then on, I seem to always be working on something. From hats to sweaters to amigurumi, my hands are constantly occupied with ‘thingmakery’.

Since 2009 I have been on Ravelry, a community of fibercrafters from around the world. I once heard someone say “it’s not worth making if it’s not on Ravelry” and this holds pretty much true. You can also see my work in published books!! While I didn’t design the garments, I did make the samples being worn by the lovely models. The designer, Shannon Mullet-Bowlsby, makes some amazing size-perfect patterns!! Check out the books here:

I also served as part of the production team for Noliknits in 2019. They have since shuttered but it was a wonderful experience making cute hats for newborns!
